The pupils of St Andrew’s have fully involved themselves on the sporting front at the beginning of this Christmas Term. The main sporting focus this term is on Cricket, Rounders and Athletics.
This weekend we have several sports squads out on tour. The U15 football team have a game today at Brookhouse and a tournament at Hillcrest on Saturday.
Our assemblies this term are focusing on leadership and the Christ-like quality of humility. Students are being encouraged to develop this trait in their character through the study of some of the leaders featured in the Bible.
On 17th September, the St Andrew’s Prep and Senior Schools met head to head for a momentous tennis tournament. 23 entrants from both Schools hit the freshly primed courts, rackets at the ready.
At the Prep School, children are encouraged to find areas in which they can lead others, based on a series of core values which are reflective of the Christian ethos of the school.
