How fast a week goes by at Turi.

Turi in Kampala

There’s only one Turi, perched upon the Kenyan Highlands. Our location is one of the unique elements of the Turi educational experience. Throughout the year we get enquiries from parents about the School and for this reason we have a team that goes to various locations to meet prospective families and explain what a Turi education offers their child.

The Admissions Team did exactly that this weekend in Kampala. Meeting prospective parents and students, having breakfast with current parents and sharing drinks and memories with Alumni who are based in Uganda.

Next stop Abuja and Lagos from the 8th to 11th of December. Entry into Turi is subject to an assessment, which the team will be conducting while there. To book a slot for your child to be assessed and for parent consultations, please click on the links for Abuja and Lagos

Karibu Turi

We love hosting. Again, our location being removed from the capital where most of our guests come from; means we get to play host quite regularly. This week we’ve had a couple of guests.

  • Last Saturday we also hosted St Austin’s for a fascinating debate on the pros and cons of social media.
  • This weekend we are hosting over 200 students for our annual Orchestral Weekend. We are having the best Senior School musicians from Greensteds School, Hillcrest Schools, Ghetto Classics, Braeburn Garden Estate, Mpesa Academy, Aga Khan Academy, Nairobi Academy,Wynton House of Music, Shah Lalji and Premier Academy.
  • Our Senior School scholars were privileged to have  renowned speaker on leadership and performance coaching world-wide Floyd Woodrow
