On the morning of 12th September,  the Senior School Year 9 students accompanied by several staff set off for  Kembu Cottages in Njoro for a day of fun and games.

 
The morning was spent team building through games and various collaborative activities. This was followed by a delicious pizza lunch and tour of Kenana Knitters. In the afternoon, the students took part in fun competitive activities that included an obstacle course, archery, sack football and orienteering within their academic houses.
 
An abrupt rainfall necessitated the execution of plan B for the rest of the afternoon; this involved building towers within small groups. Over all the students gained a lot from the day which developed their team work skills and helped build relationships, especially with students who joined St Andrews School, Turi, from other schools in Year 9.
