Last week, the Year 8 students had the privilege of taking the week off to go to Sagana, as part of their Leaver’s Programme. The week is a much anticipated event in the life of a Year 8 pupil and it did not disappoint.
From kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, to rock-climbing and mountain biking and the thrill of white water rafting; the pupils were treated to an adventure of a lifetime. Here are a few comments from the Year 8s themselves:
“It was amazing; the variety of activities was excellent” – Varun
“The best experience I have had in a long time. The thrill of white water rafting was amazing” – Tito
“What an awesome time. I will never forget the relief of surfacing after jumping into rapids, off a high rock” – Mika
