This term in Religious Studies for Year 1 and 2, we have been looking at the topic of Special Things. This is a precursor for the more detailed and complex topics in Year 6, where we look in depth at the Holy Books used in different religions.

Interestingly, many of the pupils cited their Bibles, praying and The Cross as something that was special to them. This is quite exciting for us at a School where our Christian ethos is so important to us. The pupils shared with each other some ideas and then drew a bottle or a box which contained these special things. Pleasingly, many of them also included their special mums, dads and homes, and of course a teddy or two!
