On 16th March, the Senior School hosted the UK British University Fair. Over 43 British university representatives attended the inaugural fair organised by St. Andrew’s School and UNISERV, a UK universities agency.
The aim of the fair was to give Turi students an opportunity to interact with the various universities represented. The fair was particularly useful to students who were beginning to research and make decisions about university degree courses in the UK.
The representatives were impressed by the high quality of the students’ questions, the depth of their research and the level of their intelligence. They were particulalry pleased by our students’ eagerness to learn. The parents who attended the fair also felt that it was a very informative event.
Owing to the success of the fair, both the university representatives and UNISERV agreed to host it again next year. “We believe that this will become another aspect of St. Andrew’s School’s mark of excellence” Said Mrs Sally Andwati, the Senior School careers and universities adviser.
