The Turi Leadership Award is well underway for our current Year 13s. During their two year programme, students have already written a dissertation, had experience leading younger students and learnt about themselves during a challenging team building trip away.

 
This term the challenge has been their School Improvement Plan, in which small groups research and present their ideas of how to improve St Andrews Senior School. They have developed their PowerPoint skills, practiced presenting in public and experienced some hard questioning by senior teachers on the judging panel!
 
The students gain so much from the process, building their confidence and leadership skills for the future.
