Turi Class of 2020 University Destinations Analysis

Despite the hardships experienced worldwide by A Level candidates, Turi’s class of 2020 did exceptionally well and majority are set to join top Universities this coming academic year. See analysis below:

 

  • Total number of students-62 
  • Total number of students starting studies in 2020-21-physical/online/blended learning in September 2020 or January 2021- 58 students (94%) 
  • Students placed in top 200 universities in the world (QS World rankings 2021) and/or top 30 universities in the UK (Times Higher Education –THE ‘table of tables’ rankings 2020)-37 out of 62-students (60%)
  • Students taking a gap year to apply to university for June/September 2021 admission – 4 students (6%)
  • Students getting first choice university-45 out of 62-(73%)
