Tree Planting at the Senior School
In the spirit of Round Square, the Senior School is planting trees to promote the IDEAL of Environmentalism. The students have been learning about the delicate interdependence between humans and nature while helping preserve the School’s colourful flora. So far, the Year 10, 11,12 and 13 students have planted close to 250 indigenous tree seedlings.
Despite the exercise being hampered occasionally by the bad weather, our students have been resilient and the exercise will come to a conclusion with the Year 9s in the coming weeks. The Senior School also hosted an environmental week that focused on responsible water utility in the dorms. Baringo boarding house won the ‘Save water challenge’ and along with the victory, a KES 10,000 KFC voucher!
