Sunglasses Annual senior school charity event
Sunglasses is an annual senior school charity event that seeks to raise funds to uplift the living standards of needy children and families in the local community. These funds often go a long way to supporting these under privileged children. The funds are also used to support various charity and service activities that the school is involved in.
This year’s Sunglasses was held on 28th April at the Senior School Middle field. In line with the event’s tradition, the afternoon featured several fun activities such as games that were made available to the students at a small cost. There was also plenty of entertainment provided by individual students and student groups in addition to yummy treats that included candy and ice cream. At the end of the event, a raffle lottery was held in which a few lucky students had the delight of winning various exciting prizes.
Altogether, it was nice to see the college students let their hair down and loosen up in two of the craziest events, both involving sliding in soapy water. Sunglasses happened just two weeks to the Year 13’s final exams and was therefore a very welcome avenue for them to release tension. They definitely stole the show.
