St Andrew’s Day celebration 2018

Senior School celebrated St Andrew’s Day yesterday. The event, just like last year’s was organised by the Round Square Committee in the the spirit of ‘Adventure’, one of the Round Square IDEALS.  Students and staff participated in several exciting activities which included canoeing, paddle boarding, mountain biking, tug-of-war and of course a water slide.

Our School is named after Saint Andrew the apostle, one of Jesus’s 12 disciples.  He is also the patron saint of Cyprus, Scotland, Greece, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople,  San Andres Island (Colombia), Saint Andrew (Barbados) and Tenerife.

Everyone was in for yet another amazing treat later in the evening when the Senior School hosted a fantastic Christmas dinner.
