Year 11 Oscars Dinner
8th June marked this year’s Senior School Year 11 Oscars Dinner at the Baden Powell Hall. All the Year 11 students accompanied by the Senior School pastoral staff were treated to a delectable seven course dinner complete with duck and crepes.
After the formal proceedings kicked off the evening and awards had been presented, the students were able to let their hair down and enjoy a disco. The amazing decor of the BP Hall and photo booth put together by Miss Mwenda and the Oscar’s committee proved to be very popular among the students who had dressed up to the nines.
The Year 11 Oscars is an annual event organised by Year 11 students to celebrate the end of their IGCSE exams, to recognise some of their achievements out of class throughout their time in the Main School. The event is also an opportunity to thank the pastoral staff who have supported them during their time at the Main School.
