75 of our Yr 11, 12 and 13s enjoyed a whole night of prayer last weekend. The event was arranged by the Chaplaincy team to give students the chance to spend quality time with God and grow closer as a Christian community of students.

 
The theme this year was ‘Discovering God in Everything’ and the students explored it using various activities. These included prayer walks and ‘prayer stations’ in the Sayer Hall. Mr Wayne Hackman the Whole School Chaplain explained that a prayer station has a specific focus and aims to stimulate prayer. Prayer stations included praying for the persecuted church, for their families, confession and a prayer ‘War Room’, where students could intercede for each other. One of the highlights was star gazing; students spent time examining God Creation and the beautiful African sky.
