The Music Department is as vibrant as ever preparing for the VISO service and our next musical, ‘Sister Act’. We just returned from the Braeburn Music Festival in Nairobi where all our Year 3s and 4s harmoniously belted out their rendition of ‘Super star’ complete with carefully choreographed movement. Additionally, they performed a beautifully arranged version of the well-known American Folk Song, ‘Shenandoah.’

 
Our Junior Orchestra is currently working on a simplified arrangement of ‘Autumn’, one of four works from the very famous ‘Four Seasons’ by Vivaldi, each work giving a musical expression to a season of the year. Later in the term, we look forward to our ABRSM mock exams. (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, based in London).
