Grease is the word; a St Andrew's Senior School Production
Rehearsals for the much anticipated Annual Senior School Production are underway. An ambitious cast of 61 students, under the able directorship of Ms Moodley, the Head of Drama and Theatre Studies, have taken on the challenge of preparing for the production.
The stellar cast includes students from Year 9 up to Year 13. Holly Spragg and Abby Foster will play the leading lady, ‘Sandy’ while Kamau Kabiru and Kudakwashe Mutasa take on the challenge of playing ‘Danny’, with his infamous style and swagger. The cast are mastering their lines in earnest, the set is taking shape and voices are rising in song, as the music comes together.
Ms Moodley and her team of teachers; Mr Luvai, Mr Russel and Mr Scammells from the Music Department; Mr Conlon and Mr Keay from the Art and Design department as well as Ms Wamugunda and Mr Imbuye from the Drama department are working hard to make sure it all comes together.
