Graduation Ceremony – Year of 2017

The Year of 2017 recently enjoyed a moving Graduation Ceremony with their family, friends and teachers. The event was held in a beautiful marquee at St Andrews Senior School on Sunday 14th May.

A day of reflection
The Year of 2017 were all dressed in graduation gowns and mortarboard hats fitting for the occasion. Many have been at St Andrew’s Turi for a long time and have many fond memories. The students reflected on; how far they have come, how much they have learnt and how much they have to be thankful for. Pupils expressed their thanks to their parents, teachers but mostly God for all his blessings to them.

Tributes to all
There were speeches and tributes by the Head of College, Mr Jonathan Andwati, the Tsavo Houseparent, Mr Joel Holliday, as well as student alumni. There was a real air of excitement as the students complete their A Level examinations and head off to pastures new. The majority will start at prestigious universities in September including Warwick, University College London and Bristol to name a few.
