The hockey season started on the first weekend after opening school, and Greensteds School hosted St Andrew’s Senior School for the first KAIISSO (Kenya Association of Independent International Schools Sports Organization), friendly match of the season. Sixteen Under 15 girls and sixteen Under 19 girls from the Senior School played fantastically effectively, winning both games.

In their match against Greensteds School, the Under 15 Senior School girls showed incredible team spirit and tactical flair. They gave their opponents a very hard time on the pitch and won 3-0. The Under 19 girls also put on a fantastic show against Greensteds School winning 3-2.

On 20th January, the Under 19 Girls hockey team went on to put the icing on the cake, during another friendly game with Njoro Girls High School when they won convincingly with a final score of 7-0. All the girls put on a great show showing a lot of skill, energy and enthusiasm. The player of the match was Nicole Jean Louis who scored an incredible 5 out of the 7 goals.
