Christian Union Weekend Away

The Christian Union (CU) at St Andrew’s Senior School is active and vibrant. The majority of students meet regularly on Fridays nights to worship, pray and hear from the Bible. The music is lively and the dancing infectious, allowing teenagers a chance to unwind at the end of a busy week. Each year the Christian Union Committee are appointed to help run the sessions and plan the activities for the year. It is a great opportunity or 13 students in Years 12 and 13 to take on some responsibility and practise some of their leadership skills.

This year the nearly appointed CU Committee enjoyed a weekend away at Kembu Cottages. This special time was dedicated to learning about Christian Leadership, inspired by Christ and his many leadership qualities. The weekend ended with the CU Committee leading the School Chapel on Sunday afternoon, and sharing what they had learnt from their time away.
