On 9th July, 29 students from the Senior School took part in the Barcelona IberCup 2017 Under 15 and Under 17 Soccer Tournament. Mikhel Fait shares his incredible experiences on the trip.

 
“We were all ecstatic to be in Spain and were in high spirits when we arrived at the hotel despite the drive from the airport being long and tedious. We felt that this football trip to Costa Brava would be a momentous occasion for us all.
 
We managed to experience what it felt like to play in an internationally recognized football tournament . There with many challenges during our week of fixtures; some of us were completely fatigued after four days of games while sadly others were injured. Nevertheless, we managed to persevere through till the end.
 
We were also able to experience the Spanish culture and ways of life. In Lloret de Mar, we witnessed that the city is more lively at night than during the day, we also visited the beautiful beach and did various fun activities whilst there.
 
In the main city Barcelona, we were lucky enough to visit a phenomenal theme park which had breath taking roller coasters. Additionally we got an exclusive tour of the Camp Nou (The F.C. stadium in Barcelona) and we also got to experience the delectable Spanish food!
