Year 1 and 2 Trip to Kenana Knitters
On the 6th of May, Miss Kabbia and Miss Habtu, accompanied a group of Year 1 and 2 pupils to Kenana Knitters. It was an exciting day for the Prep School students who learned a lot of new things including how wool is dyed and how color is extracted from plant leaves and fruit.
Pupils also enjoyed seeing the wool picking and knitting process before playing with the teddy bears, Kenana’s most popular product. The tour culminated in a lovely picnic lunch at Kenana Farm.
