Learning Tools is a brand new subject for St Andrew’s that is being taught to all Year 7 students. In Learning Tools, the focus is not so much on the knowledge being learnt, but rather on the skills that are being used to turn information into personal knowledge.

The first VISO of the new academic year saw the St Andrew’s pupils competing to be crowned the school champions in their individual athletic events as well as earn points for their Houses in the Inter-House Sports Day competition.

On the 27th of June we as year eight celebrated our time together during our leaver’s dinner. Every year there is a theme chosen and the theme is meant to be reflected in the music, food, decorations and even dressing and the theme this year was AFRICA!!!

The Life Skills Programme is an initiative aimed at equipping Year 12 students in readiness to make the transition to Year 13. This year’s event ran between Monday 18th June and Friday 29th June.

The end of year exams for Year 9 and Year 10 students were held during week 8 of the Trinity Term. All students had a review week before allowing them to review their learning in class as well as discuss exam technique with their teachers.
