Communication Centre

The St Andrew’s, Turi communication centre to parents is responsive, quick, understanding and personal.

  • Parent App (iSAMS Parents), for all communication with children’s program, the latest news and developments, with push notifications straight to your phone.
  • A helpdesk, to help you with any technical, academic or pastoral issues
  • Weekly feedback with specific feedback on how your child is doing
  • Parent and students ‘Pulse Surveys’ and Focus Groups, to hear how the program is going, and understand any adjustments that might need to be made.
  • Reports and Assessments

At this difficult and uncertain time, we are fully aware that our young children will be feeling a huge range of emotions, especially as life becomes increasingly pressured over the coming months. To that end, our pastoral care is as critical now as it has ever been, and as part of our virtual learning program, we are looking to help our children grow in empathy and self-awareness, show compassion and understanding for those around them, and strengthen their mental health. We also want to further equip you and your children in keeping your children safe online, and be present and personal in helping your children deal with whatever issues arise.

As we go through the virtual learning, the program will introduce and develop the following features:

  • Online individual support
  • Social and Emotional learning
  • Mental Health education
  • Wellbeing challenges
  • Online counselling
  • Pastoral Support

Another key distinctive feature of a St Andrew’s, Turi education is the emphasis we place on growing leadership, character and skills through our co-curricular program. We also firmly recognize the importance of physical and creative outlets for your child’s mental health. To that end, we aim to provide your children with a range of activities that can suit their circumstances, home resources and facilities, but that also enrich their minds, hearts and bodies.

As we go through the virtual learning, the program will introduce and develop the following features:

  • Dynamic and balanced program of activities for the day
  • Leadership messages
  • Projects, competitions and challenges
  • Virtual prizes, certification and recognition
  • Turi Leadership Award program
