Visits to the School are best organised in advance by speaking to our Admissions Team. This allows us to organise a personal tour for your family, focusing on areas specific to your child. You will also have the opportunity to meet with the Headmaster or Deputy Head as well as other key members of staff.
Assessments
Assessments vary depending on the age of your child. We aim to make assessments as relaxed as possible to ensure your child feels comfortable and able to be themselves.
Before your visit
We would ask you to scan and email copies of your child’s most recent school report, a copy of their birth certificate or passport at the time of your application.
Reception, Year 1, 2 and 3 (ages 4-6)
The assessment is solely to inform us of the pupil’s current abilities. Your child will be asked to do a number of tasks which provide insight into learning preferences, views and character.
Years 3-8 (ages 7-12)
The assessment is solely to inform us of the pupil’s current abilities. Your child will be asked to do a number of tasks which provide insight into learning preferences, views and character.

Our assessments at Senior School are more vigorous, involving a number of areas. It is conducted in a relaxed environment, allowing your child to demonstrate their potential. Areas include:

Due to the high academic standards at St Andrew’s College all Year 12s require a minimum of 5B grades at IGCSE. During their visit to the School they will also be asked to undertake:

However, as a School which attracts pupils of over 22 different nationalities we understand that a personal visit isn’t always possible in the first instance.
