Developing Leaders

St Andrew’s Turi believes that in order for our pupils to thrive in whatever sphere of life they choose, they need to not only have qualifications but also the faith, character and personal skills to make a difference.

Developing leaders starts from a young age, through the learning of Christian values  and living these out through service opportunities in the local community. Pupil regularly visit schools and charities to assist those less fortunate than themselves. The varied co-curricular  programme supports childrens’ holistic development, learning life skills beyond the classroom. During their senior years, leadership skills are honed through involvement in the Round Square programme, which emphasises key values and provides practical opportunities. College students also benefit from a structured two year leadership programme (Turi Leadership Award), which teaches professional leadership skills and culminates in a university accredited qualification.

It is designed to build and mould the next generation of leaders, who have integrity and a vision for Africa.
