I remember St. George's without affection. We did not do much...
It was probably a difficult time, just after W. W. 2, few text books and often a quick turnover of rather 'rum' staff - BUT - we did make some good friends, who have lasted a life time.
The 'Arts' were encouraged. Drawing was well taught and I was pleased to hear 'The Arts' still going in those buildings. School plays and entertainments took up much time. Madame Zerkowitch, from St. Andrew's, came several times a week for assorted dancing classes. 'A Kiss for Cinderella' and some of Madame Zerkowitch's dance displays even went to Nairobi!
